Success as a leader is a function of learning new skills and increasing one’s self-awareness. Identifying and acquiring skills is somewhat straightforward: recommended training and books abound. But expanding self-awareness requires self-reflection. Cementing new skills and gaining awareness are vastly amplified and accelerated through working 1-on-1 with a great coach. That’s where we come in!

How it works
We’ll work together over time (we suggest ~6-8 months) to help you build lasting behavior change. Our coaching sessions are typically held bi-weekly or monthly and are designed to fit seamlessly into your busy schedule.
We’ll work with you to identify clear goals and success criteria, and we tailor our approach to meet your unique needs. Two common approaches are:
Development coaching Structured sessions that are tied to a specific development goal. This is a powerful option when you have identified a pattern of behavior – where your tried-and-true methods are not working and you want to build specific new behavioral “muscles.”
Performance coaching Ongoing sessions that are driven by the week-to-week challenges and opportunities that are most important to you. Together we’ll explore different avenues, challenge your assumptions, offer resources from our wealth of product development knowledge, and help you develop a clear path forward.

What’s included
Initial Assessments: Confidential self-assessment for coachee, self-reflection sheet for optional discussion with manager, and an optional manager's reflection sheet.
Kick-off Session: With optional manager/sponsor participation, focusing on identifying coaching topic, setting desired outcomes, success criteria, and reviewing reflection sheets.
Bi-weekly Coaching Sessions: 12 one-hour sessions over six months (includes kick-off and completion sessions).
Ad hoc Support: Available for urgent topics via email and text.
Curated Learning Materials: Articles, videos, exercises, and books tailored to the coachee's needs and coaching topic.
Mid-Program Progress Check-In: Encouraged by the coach, the coachee discusses their progress and areas of focus with their manager, allowing for goal adjustments.
Completion Session: Review of achievements, insights, behavior changes, and growth, with optional manager/sponsor participation. Planning for continued practice post-coaching is also covered.
NOTE We offer ad hoc coaching or shorter programs on a case-by-case basis.
